The Event:
Welcome aboard the SS Tribute… the Singer-Songwriter Tribute Cruise that combines the timeless music of four of America’s greatest singer-songwriters with an unforgettable week-long cruise to the Western Caribbean Sea.

The Artists:
Four of America’s best tribute acts will perform throughout the week. Cruise organizer Jim Curry presents Take Me Home: The Music of John Denver. Sam Hyman presents Steamroller-The James Taylor Tribute. Suzanne O Davis presents Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook. And Jay White presents The #1 Neil Diamond Tribute Show. 

The Vessel:
This exclusive, limited group event for 200+ music lovers will be hosted on Norwegian Cruise Lines aboard the beautiful Norwegian Escape. With a capacity of 4200 guests and 1700 crew, the Escape offers “the ultimate playground at sea for all ages.” Sundecks, pools, waterslides, games, spas, casinos, fine restaurants, and lounges are among the seemingly endless array of luxuries that await you onboard. Plus there will be music and daily activities specific to the group.

After being awarded a full Rotary International scholarship to study music and voice and being selected to sing as the voice of John Denver in the CBS Television Movie “Take Me Home, the John Denver Story,” there was no doubt that Jim Curry would continue to sing the praises and songs of America’s Troubadour – John Denver. As a life-long fan, Curry dedicated himself to continue John Denver’s legacy of songs and his message of love and caring for our planet to future generations.

Since 2002 the combined talents of Jim and his band have brought John’s Music back to thousands upon thousands of people. Jim is honored to have had John Denver band members join him in some of the most prestigious venues in the country. Curry also works behind the scenes to preserve Denver’s music. Most notable is Jim’s collaboration with Lee Holdridge in rebuilding and preserving Denver’s original symphony arrangements.

Jim Curry was a key performer in the induction of John Denver to the Colorado Music Hall of fame show hosted by Olivia Newton John. Curry was also the host of the official John Denver Estate show which toured the United States and Australia.

Jim’s latest project is titled “Such a Wild Place” and was produced by two of John Denver’s band members, Pete Huttlinger and Chris Nole. It includes four original songs co-written by Jim Curry and also includes three unreleased songs written by John Denver.

Jim continues to perform John Denver’s heartfelt songs on cruise ships in Symphony Halls and in Performing Arts Centers to growing audiences all over the world.

STEAMROLLER - THE JAMES TAYLOR TRIBUTE  STEAMROLLER - THE JAMES TAYLOR TRIBUTE is a masterful tribute to  the music of James Taylor, featuring captivating performances of James  Taylor favorites with singalongs, and an engaging look into the stories  behind the creation of Taylor’s timeless, classic additions to the American  Songbook. Sam Hyman

Sam Hyman received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from Mercyhurst University’s  D’Angelo School of Music in 1992. A BMI writer and publisher, Sam has written and produced  volumes of music content for NorthStar Music UK, Stock Music, and many other music libraries  worldwide.

Sam’s original titles have underscored a variety of international television commercials and series including Belgium’s long running Hallo TV series, and The Young and the Restless in the  United Sates. Sam’s full-length albums and singles of original music are available for download  everywhere. 

In 2001, Sam’s original song FLY was selected by Rat Pack Records as the title cut of Dante  Thomas’ debut Rat Pack/Atlantic release.  

From the early 1990s through 2019, Sam played 100 to 150 gigs every year, either solo or with  his band, in regional wineries, brew pubs, listening rooms, restaurants, and for civic festivals &  special events. Since 2019, Sam has been touring theaters in the US with his James Taylor  Tribute show, Steamroller. 

A multi-instrumentalist, Sam is proficient in ProTools and taught audio recording techniques at  Gannon University in his home town of Erie Pennsylvania. Sam enjoys the creative process and  he’s at home working solo or collaborating with a team. 

 ‘Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook’, starring Suzanne O Davis is the Premier musical tribute to Carole King. 

Released in 1971, Carole King’s ‘Tapestry’ is one of the best-selling and most celebrated albums of all time. With heart, reverence, and impeccable attention to detail, they perform this entire album - plus her other hits from the 70s.  Suzanne’s exceptional performance recreates the era of iconic recordings, uncovering the rich music history of Carole King's extraordinary career. Over three decades Jay White has performed more than 10,000 concerts around the world reflecting the stage persona of an American Music Legend. Each expression of every Neil Diamond song performed by Jay evokes the power and the passion of a live Diamond performance.

In 1978 Jay began to realize that his life was destined for something greater, when his first Diamond concert shed a bright light on a new path.

Jay is grateful that his years of dedication and devotion has convinced tens of thousands of Diamond fans that he is the closest thing to the Real Deal – and he’s also humbled to have been acknowledged and embraced by Neil, Neil’s family and Band for performing the Brooklyn-born singer/songwriters’ music live in concert in the most respectful, convincing way possible.
